How ProxyDeck EU uses cookies

This policy explains the cookies and browser storage used by ProxyDeck EU, why they are necessary, and when your consent would be requested.

Last updated: October 8, 2026

Analytics by consent

Google Analytics remains disabled until you explicitly accept analytics cookies.

Essential storage only

Language and authentication storage keeps the service working securely.

Your choice

You can refuse analytics or change your preference at any time.

1. Current setup

ProxyDeck EU uses storage that is necessary to provide the service and remember choices you explicitly make. Optional Google Analytics measurement is also available, but it remains completely disabled until you consent.

The cookie banner lets you accept or refuse analytics with equal ease. Refusing does not affect access to the site or the ordering experience.

2. Cookies we use

proxydeck-locale remembers your language choice for up to 12 months. It is a first-party preference cookie with the SameSite=Lax attribute.

If you sign in, Clerk uses first-party cookies such as __session and __client_uat to authenticate you, protect your session, and keep you signed in. These cookies are required for authentication and their duration depends on your session and Clerk's configuration.

Stripe may use essential security, fraud-prevention, and payment cookies when you choose to continue to its hosted payment page. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's own policies.

proxy-deck-cookie-consent-v1 stores your analytics preference in local storage so the site can continue to respect your choice. It is not used for advertising or audience measurement.

3. Local browser storage

The site stores your theme choice, order draft, and unfinished checkout form in your browser's local storage. This information remains on your device so you can continue your work and is not an advertising identifier.

You can remove this information through your browser settings. Clearing it may reset your theme or erase an unfinished order.

4. Audience and performance measurement

Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights are used to understand aggregate traffic and technical performance. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not identify visitors across days or websites; the information is used only to improve ProxyDeck EU.

If you accept analytics cookies, the Google tag G-BZBETHQ0DS is loaded and Google Analytics may create identifiers including _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visits and maintain session state. Google Analytics is not loaded at all when you refuse or have not yet made a choice.

No Google Ads conversion tag, advertising personalization, Meta Pixel, or equivalent advertising tracker is enabled by this implementation.

6. Your controls and contact

You can block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Essential authentication or preference features may no longer work as expected if you block them.
